Introduction

Expansion and server functionality are key points in the Tempest i5000VF (S5380). Featuring support for Dual Intel® Xeon® processors 5000/5100/5300 series ("Dempsey/Woodcrest") and based on the Intel 5000P chipset, the S5380 also supports up to (8) FBDIMM modules, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, PCI Express and PCI-X slots, SATA RAID (0, 1, and 5), built-in server power management, optional remote management IPMI 2.0, all in an EEB (12" x 13") form factor for a truly well-rounded server platform that can meet all of your server requirements.
