is RangeMax?
NETGEAR’s
RangeMax extends your network coverage up
to 10 times that of standard 802.11g, thanks
to an advanced Smart MIMO (Multi-In, Multi-Out)
technology that incorporates seven “intelligent”
internal antennas in a wireless router. The
antennas continuously scan your home, automatically
sensing physical obstacles and electronic
interference, then dynamically adjust the
wireless signal to compensate and maintain
a clear connection. So if you move your laptop,
or someone starts talking on a cordless phone,
RangeMax detects the change and adapts with
over 100 possible antenna configurations.
RangeMax Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter, PC Card,
and PCI Adapter are optimized for use with
the RangeMax Wireless Router, so that everyone
enjoys high-speed connections everywhere in
your house—with virtually no dropouts
or dead spots.
