Introduction
These
CalBeta CAT-5e (enhanced) keystone jacks are compatible
with both 568A and 568B (AT&T 258A) UTP cable
termination industry-proven reliable standards.
The jack is gold-plated to prevent rusting and enhance
electrical coductivity. The special tool-less design
facilitates quick, easy, and efficient operation.
Made from the highest quality synthetic and metallic
materials, these keystone jacks are durable, fireproof,
and ideal for the most operationally intensive data
transmission applications. Jacks are available in
7 colors to match housing or allow color-coded designation
port in compliance with TIA-606 requirements. The
jacks are designed to work in conjunction with wallplates
and surface boxes or any standard keystone and angled
multimedia wallplate or patch panel. Each keystone
jack includes 110-type IDC termination with strain
relief caps.
These
modular jacks include a one piece termination cap
with an easy to read color chart that allows the
positioning of the UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
cable in accordance with a determined wiring scheme.
The cap is designed with an innovative built-in
strain relief for a trouble-free connection. This
module is the only one manufactured today that encases
each IDC conductor within the jack. This feature
insures a reliable termination the very first time.
