Intel SRCU41L PCI Ultra320 SCSI Raid Controller Card

Introduction

Enterprises and workgroups implementing large, mission-critical server systems need to protect data while maintaining server performance and availability. Such organizations need storage solutions that are easily expandable, support multiple levels of RAID, and provide ample I/O throughput. To address these needs Intel offers the Intel® RAID Controller SRCU41L.

Intel SRCU41L PCI Ultra320 SCSI Raid Controller Card

Engineered around the Intel IOP302 100MHz I/O processor, the Intel RAID Controller SRCU41L provides an intelligent storage solution for mission-critical servers by protecting vital data while offloading RAID processing from the server. The RAID Controller SRCU41L provides an extensive selection of RAID capabilities, including support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50. The controller also supports the Intel RAID Web Console, a GUI-based tool that provides a central, unified environment for simplifying the management of remote servers on a network and other critical monitoring and management activities.

To help ensure overall server reliability, availability, and flexibility the RAID Controller SRCU41L supports drive migration, online capacity expansion, and an optional battery-backup1 module. Moreover, to provide enterprises and data centers advanced performance at an affordable price, the controller supports Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel® EM64T)2. Support for these technologies makes the RAID Controller SRCU41L an ideal solution for cost-effective, mainstream servers requiring sophisticated RAID features, high-performance I/O throughput, and data protection.
