capacity and best cost per GB of any tape technology
available. The number of tracks on the tape that
can be used to store data has been increased to
704 and higher coercivity means improved linear
bit density allowing more data to be stored in the
same amount of space. HP Ultrium 3 800GB RW data
cartridge minimizes network interruption by being
capable of protecting over 500GB/hour of data and
storing up to 800GB compressed on one piece of media.
