Asus serverboard DSBF-DE/SAS supports Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5000/5100 Sequence and Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5300 Sequence to improve performance and reliability. It's ready for the broadest range of 64-bit applications and with Intel® I/OAT technology to focus on high-end server market. DSBF-DE/SAS supports 4-channel Fully-Buffered DIMM DDR2 533 /667 up to 32GB to improve the serverboard's computing capability significantly.

Leading Technology Enables Performance Scale-up
Running on the Intel® 5000P MCH and Intel 6321ESB ICH, the DSBF-DE/SAS is based on dual-core Intel® Xeon® processors 5000/5100 sequence and quad-core Intel® Xeon® processors 5300 sequence with higher FSB speed support (1066/1333) and large cache size to deliver significant performance gains.

Fully Buffer DIMM supports quad-channel DDR2 533/667 up to 32GB for memory demanding applications. Greater memory throughput helps remove performance bottlenecks.

Complete RAID solutions with reliable data support
The DSBF-DE/SAS equipped with enterprise class LSI 1068 SAS controller and 6 SATA2 connectors from Intel® 6321ICH. LSI 1068 provides RAID 0, 1, 1E support, also reserved cost-effective Zero-Channel-RAID (ZCR) upgrade path for Hardware RAID 5 support on major Linux OS. Enabled by Intel® Storage Matrix driver, DSBF-DE/SAS supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 under Windows.

Optional Mem-Cool Fan Kit optimize FB-DMM Performance
Patented ASUS Mem-Cool FB-DIMM Fan kit forces air flow directly through the hottest part on the FB-DIMM module. Mem-Cool Kit accompanied with ASUS BIOS Mem-cool setting, will make system in excellent balance among memory performance, system acoustic, and longer memory life time.
